Pre-Marital

This is generally a very exciting phase of life for most couples.  But, engagement can also be an overwhelming and stressful time.  Often, a couple seeks out pre-marital counseling to learn coping techniques and strategies that will enhance their relationship now and in the future.  Pre-marital counseling is unique to each couple and is based on the strengths and weaknesses of the couple.  Issues covered in this type of counseling range from boundary setting to children.  Seeing a counselor for pre-marital counseling decreases a couple’s inhibitions about therapy if later there is need of it.

Please contact Ms. Best if you would like to schedule an appointment or have questions about pre-marital therapy.  703-903-9696 ext. 244

Adolescents

The teenage years are often the most confusing and difficult years for adolescents and their parents.  Seeking the help of a counselor can be one of the most useful outlets in helping a young person through a myriad of issues.  Adolescent counseling is tailored to the individual and will usually always include the parents in some aspect, whether through conjoint sessions or separate parent sessions.  Issues covered in counseling may include shyness, peer pressure, low self-esteem, conflicted parent-child relations, or anger to name just a few.

If you feel you or your adolescent is in need of compassionate help, please let Kasey know at 703-903-9696 ext. 244
